Step back periodically to make sure it doesn\u2019t look too cluttered.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Books don\u2019t have to stand up like little soldiers. You can mix it up with books laying down.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add depth by layering smaller items in front of larger ones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group \u201clike\u201d items together. Arrange objects with similar shapes, textures or colors together to unify your display.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colors should compliment each other and the room.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hobbies and collectibles, like your <\/span><strong>LEGO\u2019s<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> or Funko POP<\/strong> are a great thing to display on bookshelves. Anything looks better as a collection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grouping together family photos or arranging books by color will have a bigger impact visually than having the same items spread out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t lose storage space. You can keep aesthetic appeal without losing functionality.
